In the box, besides the studio microphone itself, you will also find a special desktop mini stand, allowing for quick setup of the device and use right after taking it out of the box. However, there's nothing stopping you from mounting the Radium 600 G2 on an arm. An additional guarantee that accidental sounds (e.g., desk or holder impacts) won't disrupt the recording is the included special anti-vibration shock mount with a 5/8" thread, eliminating unpleasant vibrations for the listener.
Radium 600 G2 is a microphone built with condenser capsule technology. Its cardioid characteristic focuses on capturing the sound directly from the front of the device, so your voice - deep and slightly warm, like in a real radio broadcast - will always remain in the foreground. This ensures very accurate sound reproduction, thanks to a maximum sampling frequency of 48 kHz and a wide frequency range from 30 to 18000 Hz.
This microphone is equipped with special knobs that allow you to change the recording sensitivity and adjust the playback volume - provided you use it during recordings or live streams. This way, you have full control over the recorded voice without the need to search for appropriate sliders in sound capturing programs.
While conducting live broadcasts on the Internet, you need to have the ability to mute the microphone instantly - if the need arises for a private phone conversation or a sudden chat with roommates. A special button on the Radium 600 G2 housing allows for a quick audio recording cutoff.
Thanks to the special Jack 3.5 mm socket on the front of the microphone, you will have the option to connect headphones directly to the Radium 600 G2. Real-time monitoring is particularly useful during live broadcasts. Additionally, you can connect the microphone itself via a USB-C cable, not USB-B, as was the case with the predecessor.
A microphone cannot only sound good - it must also present itself professionally during recordings and live broadcasts. The silver details complement the matte black metal construction perfectly. Thanks to this - as well as its stable construction - the Radium 600 G2 looks great in every frame and gives the recording station a professional, studio-like character.
