At a gaming station, it’s not just reaction speed that matters, but also comfort during hours of gameplay. The GENESIS Thor 404 75% combines a compact design with features that let you tailor the keyboard’s performance to your preferences. Gasket Mount, proprietary GenX switches, hot-swap sockets, and factory-lubricated stabilizers come together to create a package designed for gamers who expect smooth operation and customization options.
Designed for intense clicking
The Gasket Mount design ensures a more pleasant experience while gaming and typing. The flexible mounting system, combined with a layer of sound-dampening foam, reduces the transmission of vibrations generated when pressing the keys. As a result, the Thor 404 75% operates more “smoothly” while effectively reducing unwanted resonance. You’ll especially appreciate this feature during long sessions at the computer.
Proprietary switches designed for gaming
The keyboard is available in two variants featuring proprietary GENESIS switches: GenX Abyssal or GenX Stratos Silent. Both variants offer smooth operation, allowing you to quickly register successive keystrokes. The 5-pin design further limits lateral movement of the switches, ensuring the keys remain more stable even during intensive use.
Stable Operation of Larger Keys
The right switch design isn’t everything. The Thor 404 75% also comes with factory-lubricated stabilizers that reduce unwanted rattling when pressing larger keys. As a result, the spacebar, Enter key, and other “large” keys move more smoothly and offer a more consistent typing experience right out of the box.
Freedom of Customization
Your preferences regarding key feel may change over time. That’s why we’ve equipped the Thor 404 75% with 5-pin hot-swap sockets that allow you to easily replace switches without the need for soldering. Simply remove the existing switches and replace them with other compatible switches to change the keyboard’s performance characteristics and tailor it to your own gaming style
More desk space
The 75% form factor retains the most important elements of a functional gaming keyboard while minimizing the space it takes up. The smaller design leaves more room for mouse movements, which can be especially important when gaming with low mouse sensitivity. This is particularly crucial in FPS games. The compact dimensions also make it easy to take the Thor 404 75% to a LAN party or tournament. A practical everyday feature is the physical dial located in the upper right corner, which allows for quick volume adjustment without leaving the game.
Built to Win
The GENESIS Thor 404 75% combines a compact form factor with features that enhance comfort and customization options. Gasket Mount, sound dampening, GenX switches, hot-swap sockets, and lubricated stabilizers allow you to customize your setup to suit your individual preferences while freeing up more desk space.
