- Remove the old earcups: grasp the earpiece securely with one hand, and with the other gently pull on the edge of the existing pad, sliding its flexible flange out of the mounting slot around the earcup.
- Prepare a new pad: Make sure you put on an ear muff dedicated to the right side (left/right) and that it is oriented correctly for the oval shape.
- Stretch the mounting flange: Slide a section of the elastic flange of the new pad into the notch on the edge of the headphone shell.
- Insert the rest of the circumference: Slide your fingers along the circumference of the shell, gradually inserting the entire collar into the slot until the earmuff settles evenly into place. Finally, gently correct the pad to make sure the material has not curled up anywhere.
