IRID 505
Our mesh midi tower chassis was tested by the editors of the PurePC industry portal. The result of the tests allowed the editors to recommend the product and award it the characteristic "Recommended!" stamp.
The case was appreciated for its solid workmanship and fit of the components, proper interior layout, classic styling and good value for money. The attention of the editors also did not escape the attention of the wiring, which was assessed as being routed in the best possible way, while eliminating air circulation disturbances.
First-rate elements turned out to be the perforated front and top of the design, which, combined with the two factory 120 mm fans, ensure efficient airflow and guarantee optimal component temperatures. In addition, the included propellers presented themselves as almost inaudible thanks to maximum speeds of up to 1,250 RPM.
"Other positives are the extensive I/O panel where we get four USB and two audio connectors, as well as the instructions and descriptions on the box in Polish. In terms of space inside, there's nothing to complain about either because most popular components will fit here, and their installation is quite simple."
Purepc.pl summary:
At this price ceiling, this is a very nice chassis that offers everything the average PC user needs. There are no reprehensible flaws here, and the design will successfully perform well when upgrading the computer in the future. Thus, it is a nice alternative to cheap, domestic enclosures from SilentiumPC or Modecom, especially if one is not fond of the styling of the aforementioned brands. In other words, there is nothing left for me but to award the Genesis IRID 505 the "Recommended!" stamp.
